PacRim 2018 Results

Six 14's were treated to excellent fall conditions this past weekend at the Totally Dinghy regatta run by RYC.  Although there was no breeze at the city front (sad day for the big boats over there), we had enough breeze on Saturday to twin wire all day long, upwind and downwind, say 8 or a little more knots of breeze? This past weekend 6 I-14s made the trek up to Huntington Lake in the Sierra's.  The weather, as usual, was clear and sunny and rather warm in the parking lot though not as hot as sometimes.  The wind was up to two-wiring conditions at the start of the races on both days, and remained that way all the way up to the top mark.  To add to the usual chaos on the lake, we had a plethora of Weta's present (12 or so) and we also started with them.  There were the normal tales of close last second…

Long ago I promised Hendo and others that I would post about what we learned about the B6, the new rig, etc. at the Worlds.
