This past weekend 6 I-14s made the trek up to Huntington Lake in the Sierra's. The weather, as usual, was clear and sunny and rather warm in the parking lot though not as hot as sometimes. The wind was up to two-wiring conditions at the start of the races on both days, and remained that way all the way up to the top mark. Clear and sunny skies greeted the five 1-14s attending the Big Dingy Regatta at Richmond Yacht Club this past weekend (April 14-15). The weather forecast, following the exciting storm cell of 2 days past, was rather mixed, some had it at 10 to 20 while others were looking for 8 to 12. Given the wind was from the right direction very early and was a bit more than normal, the fleet was gearing up for 10 to 20 in an ebb tide.
